Although specific plot details for Terminator 6 are yet to be revealed, James Cameron has already opened up about how he might use Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film.

The acclaimed filmmaker has hinted the movie will delve into why the T-800s resemble Arnie, something you may have always wondered, which suggests the actor will be playing the guy the machines were originally based on.

Cameron told TheArnoldFans...

There has to have been a guy [whose] DNA was harvested from – that they grew the organic [outer] layer that they grew the Terminator from…and that presumably was a real person at some point. Now, the question is, did that person have some sort of meaning to Skynet on WHY they chose that one (Arnold)? Or was it like a whole rack of Terminators and the one that happened to be the Arnold model just happened to be closest to the door going out to the time displacement center and all the others looked different? I’ve asked myself these questions but it’s never been resolved… so stay tuned!

So, it sounds like Arnie is starring as the man whose DNA was harvested to create the outer layer of flesh the T-800s wear, which should be interesting.

There's no word on whether he will feature as an aged Terminator as well, but based on how that went down in Genisys, T6 might be better off recreating his younger likeness, or at least de-aging him with CGI wizardry.
