6. T-800 Scan Mode

One of Dark Fate's best and least-intrusive nostalgic flourishes is the brief glimpse we get at how Carl perceives the world, with his scan mode interface of course looking exactly like the T-800's from T2.

This extends to Carl's final moments, too, as we see his neural net processor shutting down in just the same fashion that the T-800's famously did after being lowered into the molten steel.

Given how Rev-9 and Grace both have more goofy and slick-looking digital interfaces, it was nice to see this less-stylised readout in the movie too.
