You probably know Jai Courtney best for starring as John McClane's son, Jack McClane, in the cinematic horror that was A Good Day To Die Hard, or as the less charismatic and therefore not as good Channing Tatum. Despite the fact that he's a bit of a stiff and isn't particularly interesting as far as leading actors go, though, the filmmakers behind Terminator: Genesis have decided that Jai Courtney is the guy who should take on the iconic role of Kyle Reese - yes, Kyle Freakin' Reese - in their reboot/remake/whatever this thing is. Michael Biehn, and now... Jai Courtney? Okay, so maybe we're being a little bit harsh on the guy, given that he's never been exactly bad in anything - and hey, it's not like he has zero charisma, either. What we're hoping for, then, is that this proves itself to be something akin to Courtney's breakout role, where people go to the cinema to see him and come home actually saying, "Wow, whoever they had as Kyle Reese there was really good - I might look him up on IMDb at some point, maybe." Let's hope, then, that he doesn't just offer fans a merely "sufficient" performance; Michael Biehn is a lot to live up to.
