Terminator Reboot: 5 Reasons Why It Will Inevitably Suck

1. John Connor Recast... Again!

Tomhardy A fourth actor will take the role John Connor in the Terminator reboot. Taking the baton from Edward Furlong, Nick Stahl and Christian Bale, the actor who is picked should hope that he has more to do than Christian Bale did in Salvation. Surprisingly, the forerunner for the role is Tom Hardy. Taking in the age of the actors who are being eyed up for the role of his parents, it appears he will be older than them in the film. Maybe he also goes back from the future with Reese? Maybe the film is partially set in the future? Maybe it will just suck, because they are trying to shoehorn every bit of Terminator lore into one film so that the audience claps like seals every time they recognize a reference? Also: they might want Tom Hardy, but there is no guarantee that he will sign up. Currently building a good reputation for himself in Hollywood, he will not risk his career by starring in a pure nostalgia movie (he's also in the Mad Max reboot, so Terminator might be one reboot too many). Nicholashoult British actor Nicholas Hoult is also being considered, but I am sure no one wants that. Taylor Kitsch And if that all fails, remember Taylor Kitsch is also in the running. Imagine him as the face of the leader of the resistance. Like this article? Agree or disagree? Let us know in the comments section below.
