10 Biggest Things The Hunger Games Movies Have Left Out

1. Peeta Doesn't Lose A Leg

This is probably the most often complained about discrepancy (apart from the Buttercup casting controversy, of course). In the books, Peeta's left leg is amputated due to an injury he suffered during his first Hunger Games. Due to his celebrity status, the Capitol gives him a prosthetic leg. It is mentioned frequently as, during his second Hunger Games and afterwards, he often needs extra assistance from Katniss or is said to be slowing her down. In the movie, they showed his injury but just sort of left it at that. As previously mentioned, Peeta's character has changed quite a lot in the film adaptations but this is surely the most egregious example. Did we miss any other big changes to The Hunger Games?
