10 Biggest Things The Hunger Games Movies Have Left Out

7. There's No Bonnie And Twill

Bonnie and Twill, while not entirely necessary for the plot of the books, provide further bursts of humanity amid the chaos of Catching Fire. They are a young girl and her teacher, both from District 8, who meet Katniss in District 12. Bonnie and Twill's District suffered terribly under the reign of the Peacekeepers and they had escaped to seek refuge in District 13. When they meet Katniss, she still believes that District 13 no longer exists. In the books, this is the first hint that the rebellious District may not have been eliminated after all and therefore the first hint of what's the come in Mockingjay. The Catching Fire film chose instead to hold this reveal until the very end.
