Best Marketing Campaign - Deadpool
While Deadpool is technically a 2016 release and still won't hit theaters for another few weeks, the movie's marketing campaign throughout 2015 has done more than enough to make the project stand out as a superhero movie like no other. Which is to be expected really, when the title character is a foul-mouthed, fourth wall-breaking mercenary with a twisted sense of humor. Based on what we've seen from the marketing materials so far, Deadpool certainly looks like the movie Ryan Reynolds has been promising us for years, full of all the irreverence and blood-spattered mayhem fans of the character have been waiting for. From the release of the first image of our hero lounging next to a roaring fire right up to the recent '12 Days of Deadpool' extravaganza that culminated in the release of a
new red-band trailer, the marketing for the Merc with a Mouth's
true cinematic bow has perfectly captured the spirit of both the character and the source material. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIM1HydF9UA Let's just hope the movie itself doesn't suck...
