4. Electro Could Be Marc Webb's Doc Ock
Now I hope you didn't just read that and think 'Electro is going to become Doc Ock'. What I am referring to is that this villain could be as incredible to watch visually as Doc Ock was. Now Spider Man 2, which is one of my favourite comic book movies of all time, was praised for it's great dialogue, great story and characters, but who I believe truly stole the show was Alfred Molina's sympathetic take on popular Spider Man rogue Doctor Octopus. Now, Electro's backstory in The Amazing Spider Man 2 describes him as a bit of a sympathetic character. 'He's a nobody, people have stolen his ideas at the company (Oscorp), something tragic happens, then when he turns it on, he lights it up'. Now no one really knew Doc Ock that much before Spider Man 2 unless they had read the comics, maybe Electro will be similar and Jamie Foxx will do something with the character that will be unforgettable.
