2. He's Visually Impressive (And Dangerous)
There is something just so awesome about a guy who can just shoot lightning, so simple, yet so effective. With today's effects Marc Webb could successfully create an interesting battle between Spider Man and Electro, I can just picture it, lightning bolts flying everywhere, Spider Man having to successfully dodge all of them, and of course the use of water to short circuit Electro. This can finally make use of the 3D effects used in movies as it won't just be an extra feature, you will actually be getting something to see in 3D, and I couldn't think of a better Spider Man villain that could be more visually impressive than that of Electro. Mysterio is a close second, but Electro would be incredible to see in a fight. Picture all the times he has fought the wall crawler in games and in cartoons, wouldn't that just look incredible on the big screen? The first time Spider Man fought Electro in the comics, he was nearly killed just by touching the supercharged villain. He had to stay in the air and use rubber gloves to out manoeuvre him, and even had to design a new costume that would not conduct electricity to fight the villain. Sounds challenging.
