Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as May Parker, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn - that's quite a variety of extremes when it comes to characters in this movie. The heroic titular character, his love interest with an attitude, his elderly but formidable-in-her-own-right Aunt, his deceased Uncle, the geek turned electric-powered villain, the armoured rogue, the head of a huge corporation turned villain and his creepy son - there are surely enough characters to keep everyone interested and ensure that there will be some very intriguing interactions in this movie. This is clearly an attempt to emulate the success of the Avengers movie, with regards to an ensemble cast of well known characters and, if it can come close to the same box office success as the Marvel cinematic universe epic, it will have done very well.
