I personally think he is Mysterio due to Marc Webb saying it's intentionally 'MYSTERIOus', but I could be wrong. The perfect way to leave fans wanting more I think for this film, is to have not a post credits scene, but end on Norman Osborn using some of a formula to heal himself of his disease, but we get a hint of him transforming into The Green Goblin so we want to see more. This worked perfectly in Batman Begins when Batman flipped over some evidence and it was revealed to be a Joker card. I know this worked because the cinema I was in cheered. If Marc Webb can find some way to hint at The Green Goblin but not show him, it will leave fans wanting more. And don't make it a post credits scene as not everyone will see it. And for once, do not use the Ultimate version of Green Goblin, non Spidey fans will think he is battling The Hulk.
