The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - First Official Look At Electro And Harry Osborn Online!

max_dillon_625 Following the infamous "Time Square" snap of Jamie Foxx on set as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 villain, Electro, comes this officially released still of the Oscar winning actor playing his pre alter-ego, Max Dillon. The picture comes via the Twitter Feed of director Marc Webb and was tagged with; Day 52. My name is Max." Also revealed by Webb was the first still of Dane DeHaan€™s Harry Osborn... harryosbornsmall1 Webb has been providing a bunch of regular updates via his twitter account as shooting progresses. Foxx will be playing one of the most under-appreciated villains from the Marvel mythos, Electro. The image released earlier this month was our first glimpse of Foxx playing, what no doubt will be a shock to most, a blue version of Electro. Personally, I enjoyed the classic green and yellow suite, and prior to the below picture, there had been much speculation regarding the his appearance. You can see the "classic portrayal" in the Animated Series, classic comics or the 2001 Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro video game. Now we now know that Foxx's take will be closer to the €œUltimate Universe€ version of Electro. Purists have not to worry as Foxx has gone on record and said that he wanted to keep the character close to the original as the actor has been a big fan of Spider-Man. And he too said the following about his take on the character:
"I'm going to keep it close to the chest but I followed the Spider-Man comic books, and I would watch the television show growing up. It's a blessing."
Electro Opening May 2014, the sequel to the Amazing Spider-Man sees Andrew Garfield reprise his role as Peter Parker and will be joined by Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Chris Cooper, Felicity Jones, Colm Feore and Martin Sheen in the cast. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is shooting right now in New York. Click "next" below to read The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 5 Reasons Why Electro Is The Perfect Choice
