2. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci & Jeff Pinkner Will Probably Write It

Screenwriting duties are yet to be officially assigned at this point in time, but it's probably safe to assume that some combination of the team that is Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner will find themselves hired in said role. These three were the masterminds behind The Amazing Spider-Man 2, of course, and they're all linked in some way, shape or form with upcoming Spidey projects, including The Sinister Six and the Venom movie. The fact that they're so ingrained in the process as writers, producers and even directors means that these guys are the most likely candidates for the job, though we can't be sure whether or not that's actually a good thing. For all its good parts, the script for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was something of a mess. Which could have been due to a number of things, of course, including studio meddling, or even a case of "too many cooks spoiling the broth."
