Who should play her? Felicity Jones, since it's likely Felicia Hardy will be playing that character in TASM2. Great actress, interesting choice. Still, Shailene Woodley was cut at the last minute and she was Mary Jane Watson, for pete's sake! How much more of an integral character could you have in a Spiderman film? And there's the rumours that the role would be recast when Mary Jane rocks up again. So, my money would be on Jennifer Lawrence if this is the case. OK, unlikely due to her stat status and playing Katniss Everdeen and all, but I did say it was dream casting!
Why would/should they be included? I don't think she should be included, but who am I to judge? It'd make sense that she starts off with the Sinister Six having stole Peter Parker's heart and using that to her advantage, wanting to take Spidey out for some reason, only to have a change of heart and switch sides. She should be included for that interesting take on how to defeat a superhero.But would she be included with a group of, supposedly, villainous heavy hitters? Tricky. Black Cat's never been included in the Sinister Six in the comics, so why would a movie break that?
Likelihood: 2 out of 5 Felicia Hardy seems certain to appear. Black Cat may appear at some point. Black Cat has been known to switch sides, acting as an antagonist to ol' Webhead. But Black Cat as a member of The Sinister Six? Unlikely. Felicia could just be a minor character like Betty Brandt or Bryce Dallas Howard was when she played Gwen Stacy, and may not even get promoted to a love interest after time, let alone a famous antagonist. But I've been wrong before...
