The Avengers: 10 Problems Age Of Ultron Can Fix

8. A Less Dragged Out Opening

When Tony Stark referred to the Avengers taking a long time to gain any traction, he wasn't wrong. It took them a hell of a long time to actually become the Avengers - and that wasn't just due to the fact that they had difficulty getting along. The film itself took a lot of time to get going, with an opening was incredibly and unnecessarily slow and dragged out. That wouldn't have been so bad if the parts without action been interesting, but, aside from a few humorous moments, the movie was actually very boring before it got going. Avengers: Age Of Ultron must avoid this. Anything other than a higher box office return would be classified as a failure for Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios - and that means it must improve in all areas. Getting into the action sooner rather than later - or at least making it more interesting in terms of set-up - is essential, so a quicker and higher-octane opening is an absolute must.
