8. Taser Glove
In Batman's first slugfest in the movie, he beat up gangsters who are assaulting someone in the train station. Batman grabs one of the guys by the throat, and his glove gives an electrical charge out of nowhere. It signals to the audience that this Batman has a far more brutal way of battling Gotham's evil that is just shy away from killing them. If he stayed on the poor man's neck much longer, he would have died.
While it is not shown in the movie, a gadget that emits an electrical charge can have other practical applications. It can even be used for medical purposes if Batman needs to save a life.
