The Batman: 10 DC Comics Villains Perfect For Matt Reeves' Sequel

1. The Court Of Owls

The Batman Court of Owls
DC Comics

Villains that have no face or name are often the most terrifying.

In the Court of Owls there are many faceless, nameless enemies. Their motives are at first unclear to the Detective. They are an ancient organization and he has no knowledge of their dealings. That might be the part that Bats finds most frightening. Gotham is his city and he knows it well, but the Court of Owls have been right under his nose the entire time. One thing he is certain of is that Bruce Wayne is a threat to them. They've targeted him and sentenced him to death.

The Court of Owls are perfect for Matt Reeves' Batman universe. They are shrouded in mystery and any answers Bruce finds would be hard for him to believe. The organization's loyal assassins, the Talons, would push the Caped Crusader to near his breaking point. Batman's detective skills would face their toughest test yet. It's a masterpiece waiting to happen. Robert Pattinson himself has expressed interest in filming a story featuring the Court. Let's hope it turns into a reality.
