The Batman: 14 Huge Reveals From The Batsuit & Batmobile Images

1. The Film's Aesthetic WILL Be Dark

So far, Matt Reeves has given us two big teases for The Batman, revealing first looks at Robert Pattinson in "test footage" and now these new images of the Batmobile. What unites both? A particularly bold aesthetic.

The newer images are probably a better indication, but there's definitely a suggestion in both that we're looking at Reeves teasing out his neo-noir visuals.

In other words, this could be what the whole film looks like, as the director draws from the noir film influences he set out right back at the start of his tenure as The Batman's director. And if those visuals - which would no doubt parallel the murky world of Gotham perfectly - are that strong, we're going to get a Gotham that has as much personality as Tim Burton knew it should have in his movies.

And if that's not something to get excited about, you're not paying attention.
