Jack Huston is one of the less famous names who's been linked to playing Batman for Matt Reeves, but rumour has it that he has actually met Reeves and Warner Bros to discuss the part. His rising star has thrust him into that vaunted position, but the rumours almost immediately turned on the idea, suggesting Reeves wants a younger actor.

Apparently, Reeves' latest draft has Batman between 25 and 30 (hence the speculation that he's making a Year One adaptation of sorts), so Huston would be out of the picture. Reeves was still impressed enough to hire him though, according to the same rumours, as he's in line to play Harvey Dent.

Huston is certainly a more left-field choice, but he's far better than Ben-Hur suggested he was and it might not be the worst thing for Warner Bros to go with a less established name.
