The Best Moment Of Every James Bond Film - Ranked

21. The Living Daylights: Cargo Net Fight

Daniel Craig Casino Royale
MGM

The Living Daylights is a weak Bond film that's often very dull, but it does have some solid action in fairness. The best is saved for the end: Bond (Timothy Dalton) fights a henchman, Necros (Andreas Wisniewski), while hanging onto a cargo net hanging out the back of a plane.

It's a great set-up for a fight scene and sure enough, it more than delivers. It's an excellent set-piece that's filled with tension and makes for a real "Holy s**t!" moment, given how high up they are.

It also leads to a very good post-kill line. Bond eventually defeats the assassin by cutting off his own boot, which Necros was holding onto, and sending Necros plummeting to his death. Bond says seconds later to the film's Bond Girl "He got the boot!" Nice one.
