The Best Part Of The 10 Worst MCU Movies

7. The Cinematography - Eternals

In the build-up to the third movie of Phase Four, Eternals promised to bring something different to the franchise. It was going to be a huge spectacle, described by some as a masterpiece, and with Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao at the helm, it was easy to believe.

Unfortunately, the biggest difference Eternals brought to the MCU was its Rotten Tomatoes score. Never before had an MCU movie fallen into the realms of rotten, but this did. It divided fans and critics, but even those who enjoyed the movie could never truly say it lived up to the hype it was getting before it was released.

One thing that can never be taken away from the movie however, is that it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The cinematography, the settings and locations, the powers and character designs, even down to Arishem and how he communicated with his Prime Eternal were stunning to look at.

There have been some epic shots throughout the MCU, and while most movies have one or two, in Eternals they never seemed to stop. It’s a shame the rest of the movie couldn’t match this particular aspect.
