The Best Part Of The 10 Worst MCU Movies
4. Justin Hammer - Iron Man 2
Tony Stark has gone up against a handful of villains in the MCU, from the likes of Obadiah Stane, Ivan Vanko, and Aldrich Killian, all the way to Loki, Ultron, and of course Thanos. One of his most entertaining rivals however, simply has to be Justin Hammer.
No, the CEO of Hammer Industries wasn't a particularly threatening bad guy, nor did he cause Iron Man a huge amount of trouble. He was by all accounts a loser, but he was brought to life in such a way by Sam Rockwell that audiences fell in love with him.
Hammer was desperate to be Tony Stark, and he attempted to emulate the man with an abundance of unearned over-confidence. The dancing on the stage, throwing his money around, and even down to the attitude just screamed of a poor man's replica, and it was just fun to watch. This was something that was altogether lacking in Iron Man 2.
There weren't many highlights throughout the weakest of the Iron Man movies, as even Black Widow's introduction can't be looked back on without cringing at the painful over-sexualisation, but every moment Hammer was on screen embarrassing himself was a joy.
