The Cloverfield Paradox: 20 WTF Moments

19. The 3D-Printed Bagel

The Cloverfield Paradox

What better way to depict technological advancement in a sci-fi film than opening with the protagonist using a 3D printer to make herself a bagel, and a pretty horrible looking one at that? The printer was labelled "Worst Bagel Machine Ever", though, so it's not like she wasn't warned.

Granted, you basically need to settle for whatever bare-bones rations you can get your hands on in the far reaches of space, but if Cloverfield Station houses a highly advanced, state-of-the-art particle accelerator, you might think it'd be equipped with a machine capable of cooking up something a bit more appetising than this.
