1. It's The Worst Of The Three Main Conjuring Films

As is evident by now, The Devil Made Me Do It is without question the weakest of the three focal Conjuring films. Without Wan's ambitious directorial skill, the pedestrian script plays out in inoffensive-yet-generic fashion.

If the previous two Conjuring movies were distinct excursions that fans still fondly remember years later for their atmosphere and imagination, this third offering seems more keen to blend into the genre periphery.

It's tough to imagine many fans holding this up with the same regard as its predecessors, even if some will surely find it passable enough as a visually enticing, well-acted horror romp.

But again, it's by no means an awful or totally objectionable piece of work, so here's what The Conjuring 3 gets right...
