4. How Does Batman Get Back To Gotham?
Someone suggested to me that there ought to be a sequence in the movie where Bruce finds his way back to Gotham in a ridiculous Planes, Trains and Automobiles/Due Date parody where he is paired with some moronic loser that drags him down at every turn. Hell, there's an entire movie in that idea itself if someone wanted to go that far. As amusing an ideas as that is, it simply wouldn't fit in with the sombre tone of TDKR, however it's still a very valid question that could do with a little explaining. Sure we don't always need to know everything about everything as sometimes it's better to leave it to the imagination but one has to wonder what resources Bruce called upon to get him back home undetected. Perhaps a scene or two showing Bruce's secret passage back to the US would be a great way to pad out the extra 30 minutes - as long as it isn't too boring.
How likely is it to make the cut?: Not likely. It is assumed that Wayne uses his endless wealth and stealth to get back unnoticed. Except he lost all his money thanks to Bane's Wall Street shenanigans, so go figure.
