7. Considered a More Flexible Bat-Suit
Ive been very vocal in my criticism of the Batsuit in Nolans franchise, but then Ive also been vocal in my criticism of Burtons Batsuit too, and Schumachers. For me, its never been fully pulled off on film. The problem for me is that these movies seem to see Batman as a juggernaut; a guy who bulldozes down his target with a powerful thrust of a thick rubber boot. But thats not how Ive seen him presented in reality, Bats relies as much on his ability to dodge a punch than to throw one. I know everyone seems to love Nolans Batman and the way he does battle and thats fair enough, but can you imagine what itd be like if Christan Bale was somehow able to move as freely as if he were wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, but still look like Batman? Thered have been so much more depth to the fight choreography as it is, Nolan invariably limited himself with his choice to go with heavy, armour-like Batsuit.
