7. The Wigs
The STYLE of the wigs is great all the way through as we see Crue go through the various aesthetic eras of the band, but they should have tried to shoot them indoors as much as possible, because the natural lighting is deeply, deeply unforgiving.
It's particularly poor right at the end of the movie when we see the band reunited and Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee meet Mick Mars at the hospital and they're bathed in sunlight. The synthetic material looks like the wigs cost pennies, which is seriously unfortunate when the rest of the costumes and make-up is so impressive.
It's not all terrible, of course, but once you start to notice, it's really, really hard not to notice. And that's particularly bad when Vince Neil is struggling so badly and all you can focus on is his weird, fake stubble.
