The Fantastic Four: 10 Things You Need To Know

3. People Are Already Angry About Everything

Oh yes, but despite all that, people are still mad. People are mad that Michael B Jordan has been cast as Johnny Storm, who is traditionally a white character in the comics, under the auspices that it doesn't make sense he would be the brother to Kate Mara, because racists don't understand how adoption or step-families work. Anyway, that got put paid to when fellow The Wire alumni Reg E Cathey was cast as the elder Storm. Not that that stops people, because some people are idiots. There's also been some general outcry about the rumours it's not really a superhero film, the lack of costumes, and people worried it's going to be all family drama, no clobbering time. From the sounds of it, that's not true. The last thing that's got people's knickers in a twist is the whole Doctor Doom-as-a-hacker scenario. But really, who is most likely to have an inflated sense of self, some admittedly specialist skills and a stupid codename like that? A computer hacker.
