The Flash: 10 Ways Ben Affleck's Batman Could Be Written Out Of The DCEU
7. Killed By The Reverse-Flash
Reverse-Flash will almost certainly be the lead villain in The Flash and, if that's not the case, it would be a huge mistake on Warner Bros.' part. He's the one responsible for killing Barry Allen's mother, and takes great delight in taunting Barry after he finds himself in a new timeline where his powers are fading and he's starting to forget his time as the Flash.
This would be a fun spin on what happened in the comic books when the Thomas Wayne version of Batman killed Eobard Thawne by stabbing him through the chest. The Flash being forced to watch on as Reverse-Flash takes his mentor from him would be undeniably powerful, and a true shocker which ends Affleck's time as the hero in an unbelievable, shocking manner.
It's hard to imagine this movie will have a huge amount of time to establish Reverse-Flash, so giving him a supporting role and making sure he leaves a lasting impact as Batman's killer would be smart...especially as it sets the stage for a personal rematch between the two speedsters one day.
