The Fountain chat track online

The Fountain DVD came without a commentary track, but that hasn't stopped director Darren Aronofsky making his own and putting it online.

You€™ll be hard pushed to find a film more divisive than Darren Aronofsky€™s The Fountain. Personally I found it a beautiful movie both in aesthetic and sentiment, however I think it€™s far from perfect and can completely understand why people dislike this trippy cosmic love story. So far I€™ve resisted buying the DVD as it looked like Warner Bros had skimped on the extras. But now there€™s an excellent reason to pick it up as Darren Aronofsky has recorded a commentary track (the DVD didn€™t have one) and released it online for download. I don€™t often listen to commentary tracks but this is one I€™m definitely interested in and may give something of a definitive answer as to what exactly The Fountain is about (I have my own ideas but who knows if they match Aronofsky's intentions). This comes on the back of John August€™s online commentary to The Nines and shows just why the internet is an awesome place for film nerds. I just hope that this downloadable commentary thing doesn€™t go too far and we get the creator of this monstrocity releasing a talk track! source €“ darrenaronofsky.com

Will Reynolds hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
