We very nearly didn't get The Hateful Eight in film form. As they say, loose lips sink ships, and when the H-8 script was leaked online, Tarantino pulled the plug in a huff. Thankfully, though Tarantino saw sense, the script was revised and filming commenced with the fifth and final section, "Black Night, White Hell", having undergone extensive changes. After the leak, Tarantino hosted a live reading of the original script. The audience was informed that the reading would be the only time the story would play out with the original ending (Ahoy, spoilers ahead!). The original ending is very Reservoir Dogs-esque, with everyone basically filling each other full of lead, and a bullet-ridden Tim Roth screaming in pain from a shot to the gut as we fade to black... What will happen now? Considering how much security increased after the leak, it looks like we will only know once the yule log burns.
