9. What Are The Key Plot Points?

Invisible Man

Let's not get too spoilery here...

The major plot point of this story is that our protagonist, Cecilia Kass, is in an extremely violent relationship, trapped in a seaside villa that seems the stuff of nightmares. There are video cameras everywhere, security cameras and even an electrical collar for the pet dog.

In a tense opening, Cecilia makes her way out of the house, where she is picked up by her sister, Alice. We then skip to a period two weeks later, when we see Cecilia staying with old friend James, a detective, who lives with his daughter, Sydney. All the characters have a significant part to play, with their relationships with Cecilia pivotal to the the plot.

There is a shock announcement that Cecilia's husband has died, which allows our protagonist to have a temporary sigh of relief. However it doesn't take long until Ms Kass gets the feeling that someone is watching her from inside the house.

To give away any more would be going into severe spoiler territory, but it's fair to say that Cecilia's paranoia is real, with someone or something taunting her all the way. The actions of our unseen villain becomes more and more aggressive, with Cecilia seemingly being gaslighted from beyond the grave.

There are several major twists that sends the film spiralling in different directions, including an ending that will be hotly debated for some time to come.
