5. "I Wonder What Deadpool Movie We're On"

After Nova uses a flux capacitor to try and save her grandfather from being eaten by a shark, Nova and April end up killed by the sharks in the ensuing mayhem.

Fin and Skye meanwhile travel forward once more to a post-apocalyptic future Los Angeles - but more on that in a moment - where Fin asks, "I wonder what Deadpool movie we're on."

It might be one of the weirdest and awkwardest jokes in the entire franchise, to be honest. Is the joke that the Deadpool movies, all two of them, were released too close together? And if so, isn't that a bit rich coming from a series that cranked out a movie a year for six years?

More than anything, it felt like a lame attempt to reference some of-the-moment pop-culture than actually make a funny or interesting joke.
