The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen Remake: 13 Actors Who Should Be Cast

Unlike the first attempt to adapt the film, the Fox reboot really needs to have Mina Murray as more of a leader of the group, rather than just part of the team. It is she who is tasked by Campion Bond with assembling the team of extraordinary individuals and it should be through her eyes that the new film charts that genesis.

Considering the accusations of sexual inequality levelled at the comic book movie industry, that much should be a given (never mind the duty the adaptation has to the source). 

Who Should Play Her?

Ok, so perhaps this is risking accusations of laziness, but Eva Green is essentially playing the same sort of character in Penny Dreadful as she would in The League, and she's been doing it brilliantly for the past season and a half.

Despite concerns that she wouldn't be able to pull off a British accent convincingly, she's brushed those aside effortlessly, and her command of the supernatural elements of the show, as well as her wrestling with the ghosts of her past make her the perfect Mina.
