1. The Lego Ninjago Short Isn't Great

Before the movie begins, there's a short film attached intended to hype up The Lego Ninjago Movie, due for release in September. The short features Sensei Wu (Jackie Chan) attempting to create a sign that reads "The Master" while a pesky, surprisingly nimble chicken keeps foiling him.

It's fitfully amusing, but basically repeats itself too much and ends up dragging on at least a minute or two too long. It's not quite the hilarious Ninjago introduction most were likely hoping for, so the proper marketing push over the course of the summer will need to be much, much stronger than this.
