The other big thing to come out of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. trailer is it looks like the film Guy Ritchie has been building towards since the beginning of his career. His wideboy cockney gangster flicks suffered from diminishing returns, with the steady stream of larger-than-lfie characters with ridiculous nicknames, rhyming slang, and Tarantino-riffing labyrinthine plots wearing a little thin by RocknRolla. Especially because Ritchie is kind of a posh git himself. There were the wilderness years whilst married to Madonna when he made the pretentious Revolver and awful remake of Swept Away, but he got back on the horse with his Sherlock Holmes films. Even then, though, his sensibilities seemed somewhat at odds with the material. The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is a match made in heaven, though, with Ritchie's keen eye for action, comedy and character all coming together pretty nicely. This could be the surprise blockbuster hit of 2015. What did you make of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. trailer? Any hidden gems this breakdown missed? Discuss the upcoming movie down in the comments.
