Perhaps the most alluring new character featured in the trailer is Jessica Henwick's blue-haired, unnamed hero, who appears to reintroduce Neo to the concept of the Matrix and is seen fleeing Agents alongside maybe-Morpheus.

Some have already theorised that she will be the movie's rebooted version of Switch, but if Resurrections is truly going to go the soft reboot route, could she not be the new One?

It's a fair possibility that the film will be concerned with passing the torch from one generation of heroes to the next, and given how involved Henwick's character appears to be in both the story and action, she could be the One in this new iteration of the Matrix, serving as the protagonist for a potential new trilogy.

This revelation would perhaps raise more questions than answers, but also be a fairly elegant way to leave the door open for future films.
