1. The Post-Credits Scene Is About... Cat Videos!?
Because all blockbuster movies need post-credits scenes now, even The Matrix Resurrections has one, though it certainly doesn't make any effort at all to further set up a sequel.
Instead, it's a total throwaway gag as we cut back to the employees at the Deus Machina game company, where they discuss movies and video games being dead art forms before proclaiming that the future of entertainment is... cat videos.
One of the two then makes the toe-curlingly awful suggestion that they make a series of cat videos called "The Catrix," and as though embarrassed of the scene herself, Lana Wachowski then abruptly fades to black.
This was clearly an off-cut from the first act of the film, and it probably should've stayed that way.
