The Menu Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

2. It's Full Of Fun Twists & Turns

The best thing you can do to ensure maximum enjoyment of this movie is to basically avoid watching the trailer altogether, because it is absolutely a film that rewards those who go in knowing as little as possible.

Though the trailer certainly doesn't ruin the movie's big conceit, it will allow you to glean things that probably shouldn't be known by a first-time viewer.

After all, it's a film jam-packed with giddy twists and turns, and if you haven't obsessively followed the marketing you surely won't figure them all out.

The playfulness of the script, performances, and direction make it easy to lose yourself in the wild, absurd ride and simply have fun with it rather than questioning the precise logic of every single reveal.

It's a film that continually introduces new wrinkles to keep things interesting, and whether you guess where it's going or not, you're likely to be entertained by the outcome.

Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes). General video game, TV and film nut. Occasional sports fan. Full time loon.
