The Mighty Ducks Cast - Where Are They Now?

D2: The Mighty Ducks went worldwide with the team largely returning to represent the U.S.A in an international tournament. Sequels tend to mean new faces, and Russ Tyler was one of those new players brought in to spice things up. After a wrist injury to star player Adam Banks, Russ is brought into the fold along with his trademark slap shot called the 'knucklepuck'. Now, who played this hard-hitting pucker? Well, it's none other than Kenan Thomspon.

That's right, one half of the awesome Kenan & Kel duo made his feature film debut with D2: The Mighty Ducks. Thompson has gone on to much bigger things following his appearances in both the second and third installments of the movie franchise, with voice work in animated films such as The Grinch, Wonder Park, and Playmobil: The Movie.

However, most impressively Thompson can be seen tearing it up on that cultural cornerstone of American TV in Saturday Night Live. So good and successful has his contribution been that he is now the longest-serving cast member in the history of the show.
