The Predator: 8 Ridiculous Plot Holes That Make No Sense

6. Why Was Quinn Transported With "The Loonies"?

The Predator Trevante Rhodes

After Quinn is retrieved from Mexico by agent Will Traeger (Sterling K. Brown), he's interrogated in Tennessee and eventually shoved onto a bus along with a gang of rambunctious, mentally unstable war veterans known as the "Loonies."

But you have to consider - why on Earth would the U.S. State Department, clearly extremely anxious about Quinn's ability to spill the beans about what he saw in Mexico, put him on a ramshackle transport with a bunch of mentally unwell men?

Wouldn't it make more sense to transport him in a private vehicle, alone, with an armed escort?

This ultimately comes down to "because movie" more than anything, and most viewers will certainly be grateful for the Loonies' presence in the film, but the circumstances through which Quinn meets them are quite a stretch indeed.
