2. Too. Much. Talking.

"Show, don't tell" is a classic rule of filmmaking, and it transpires through to the marketing also. Nobody's going to be sold on a movie by sitting through reams of stodgy expository dialogue, so it was a sure mistake to pack so much gassing into this mere 100-second teaser.

In fact, the trailer honestly would've benefited from featuring no exposition at all and just focusing on the characters' banter and the Predator action. Instead, we get Quinn locked in a room talking to a government stooge, and Casey harping on about the Predators' daft plan to upgrade themselves.

Maybe dole this information out over the next few trailers, if at all? A teaser should be just that: an intriguing hint of style, mood and tone, not an exposition dump.
