1. It's Unfortunately Reminiscent Of AVP2

A depressing yet consistent sentiment among fans already is just how reminiscent the trailer is of 2007's rancid Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.

From the Predator ship crashing in the wilderness to the presence of a child and a Predator running loose in an urban area, it seems pretty damn misguided to start taking cues from the most widely-ridiculed entry into the franchise.

While it's incredibly unlikely it'll end up anywhere near that level of awfulness, it's still unfortunate to see the trailer evoking a similar vibe. Oof.

And though this teaser trailer has significantly lowered expectations, there are still some encouraging takeaways...
