The Predator Trailer 2: 9 Things You Might Have Missed

Infamously, Billy is a very stoic character throughout the original film. He is the team's tracker and has little interest in socializing with much of anyone or participating in their testosterone-fueled contests.

But Hawkins persists nonetheless, attempting to get Billy to laugh with his crass jokes. Eventually, he does succeed and Billy lets out a booming laugh. The Predator is actually watching as this interaction happens and winds up recording Billy's laugh and sampling it several times throughout the film. Most notably, the Predator uses it as his maniacal laugh, screeching over the final scene of the film just before he self-destructs.

In the new trailer, right around the forty-three-second mark, Sterling K. Brown lets out a laugh that sounds uncannily similar to Billy's. Considering that Billy's laugh stems from one of Shane Black's lines in the original, this is a fun tie back.

And even though Brown's line is said from within the confines of an interrogation room, don't be surprised if Black goes the full mile and has one of the new Predators wind up sampling Brown's laugh for use.
