THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG trailer!

Disney are back with their first animated feature made in the style that made the company famous and the huge giant of business it is today. The movie is The Princess and the Frog which follows a young black Princess who lives in the New Orleans' French Quarter during the jazz age, and is a animated musical fairytale. The film is the first time in Disney's history that a black woman is the lead character. Watch the trailer below but don't get too excited about it, we won't be able to see it until Christmas 2009!

Ah, I loved the beginning - we can always trust Disney to blend music and images.

Trailer made me smile, love to see Disney take this kind of animation seriously again, and I know this will find an audience. It's from the team who brought us Aladdin and The Lion King - these guys know exactly what they are doing.

Story and characters are key and if they get that right in the next trailer, this could make serious cash.
