The Single Best Thing In Every Star Wars Movie
1. The Rise Of Skywalker: The Tremendous Acting
And finally, we arrive at The Rise of Skywalker.
Rise is not as bad as some would have you believe, but it is a ridiculously rushed mess of a movie that, much like the Prequels, fails to adequately realize what is, on paper, a strong story on the screen. It's technically strong and occasionally moving, but it'd be difficult for anyone to make a convincing argument that it's a great movie.
The greatest thing in this wildly mixed bag then? The acting. Even the many who loathed this movie and called it the worst Star Wars film ever are likely to appreciate the universal strength of the performances all across the board.
The stand-outs are Adam Driver, a returning Ian McDiarmid and Daisy Ridley, the latter of whom gives her finest performance as Rey, but everyone in the cast - both new and returning - smashed it.
As previously said, even in the weaker instalments you can always rely on Star Wars to deliver greatness - and Rise of Skywalker definitely reaffirmed that.
