The Single Greatest Thing In Each James Bond Movie

2. Spectre - The Fantastic Cast

No Time to Die Daniel Craig
MGM

Spectre is a movie people really need to give a break. Much like Quantum of Solace several years earlier, Spectre was an undeniable disappointment and definitely dropped the ball in many key areas (namely, several of the writing decisions were misjudged and the finale is pretty underwhelming), but it gets many other things absolutely bang-on - most of all, the tremendous acting all across the board.

Where to begin? Daniel Craig continues to be the greatest James Bond of all time, Lea Seydoux brings plenty of pathos and charm to an otherwise flawed lead Bond Girl, Ben Wishaw is a hilarious Q, Ralph Fiennes establishes himself as a note-perfect M, Jesper Christensen has an unforgettable cameo, and both Andrew Scott and Dave Bautista considerably elevate otherwise formulaic supporting villains with their smashing work.

Furthermore, despite her very weak performance in Skyfall, Naomie Harris improved significantly in this installment and she became, easily, the best Miss Moneypenny (which had previously been a completely thankless role, let's be honest) to date. As for Christoph Waltz, however bad some of the writing was for his version of Blofeld, he is actually pretty great in the part and reaffirms himself as one of today's finest actors at playing villains.
