The Single Greatest Thing In Each MCU Movie

Captain Marvel's strongest asset by far, and the only thing you'll really remember that much (aside from the film's ghastly explanation as to how Nick Fury lost his eye), is the mid-film twist.

It is revealed that the Skrulls, who Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) had been taught were the enemy, aren't actually the bad guys after all and are just refugees, while her former mentor Yon Rogg (Jude Law) is the real villain.

This is a genuinely great reveal that feels so much fresher than the rest of the film and represents a very satisfying and uplifting subversion of expectations.
