The World's End Review: 10 Insane Things You Won't Believe

5. Cameos

The World's End is a movie filled with cameo appearances from actors both big and small, and much of the fun is in spotting some of the quieter, blink-and-you'll-miss-it ones. For instance, Rafe Spall and Alice Lowe breeze in and of the picture in mere seconds as a couple venturing outside of a pub, while Michael Smiley is uproariously funny as Reverend Green, Andy and Gary's former weed connection in Newton Haven. Now, however, he seems to be reformed - but is this just part of the robot's ploy? Steve Oram - who co-starred with Lowe in Sightseers - also pops up occasionally as a robotic police officer keeping an eye on Gary and his cohorts. Lending his voice to an unexpected role is Bill Nighy, ensuring his presence is felt throughout the entirety of the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy.
