The Worst Moment Of Every James Bond Film - Ranked

3. A View To A Kill - Beach Boys

The World Is Not Enough
MGM

Since this is arguably the worst James Bond film of all, this was definitely the hardest to pick the worst moment for. Whatever moment was chosen, that would mean many other abysmal scenes got 'snubbed'.

There's the assembly line gag, the lame horse race set-piece, a cringey love scene in a hot tub, an atrocious chase involving a fire truck and... well, any moment when main Bond Girl Stacey Sutton starts screaming "James! James! JAMES!", but nonetheless, a certain moment is so awful it'd feel simply wrong not to put it as the film's worst scene.

During the film's pre-title snow-based chase scene, while Bond is snowboarding away from some Russian bad guys (as usual), a cover of "California Girls" by The Beach Boys starts playing. No, that's not a typo but if only it was.

It's difficult to believe someone actually thought this was a good idea. It's a beyond-abysmal piece of comedy which ruins an already-forgettable set-piece by sucking any excitement or tension from proceedings.

California Girls is a great song, but this was not the right place for it. What the hell were they thinking?
